DONNA CHING
MANAGING DIRECTOR
1st World Outstanding Chinese Youth Entrepreneur Award Winner
Chairlady of Yan Mei (Miss Asia) Charity Organization, 2017-22
Donna started her career as a professional model and went on to become a choreographer, designer and director on special events. She has appeared in numerous music videos, fashion shows and magazines like ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire. In 1997, Donna won the first place in a modeling contest and was given the chance to go to Paris. Inspired by the French theatrical performances, she came back to Hong Kong and decided to kick-start her career in event productions. Donna’s extensive fashion knowledge and personal network in the industry cause her to become a successful professional.
With over 25 years of experience, Donna has a strong concept of beauty. To her, the beauty we see on stage does not come naturally - it takes the efforts of many talented people, both backstage and on stage, to make it happen. That's why she takes on-site management so seriously, and is always looking to bring out the beauty of each and every performer. Donna's passion for events has successfully transformed her from a performer to a director behind the scenes. What’s more, Donna believes that there are many kinds of beauty but only “inner beauty” is timeless.
Donna has been actively involved in community welfare, through a wide range of charitable activities and is currently the vice-chairlady of the World Outstanding Chinese Youth Association and the Chairlady of Yan Mei (Miss Asia) Charity Organization. In 2012, two primary schools were built in Heilongjiang and Hunan with the support from the organization. Donna is a notable alumna of Man Kiu College in Hong Kong. In 2017, she received an honorary doctorate from the Sabi University for her notable achievement.
